Which Minecraft versions does Asgard support?
Minecraft: Java Edition 1.8.9 and 1.21.1. You choose the version in the launcher before you press Launch.
Can I use it on Hypixel and other servers?
Asgard is server-safe: mods a server forbids are switched off automatically when you join that server, for example Freelook on Hypixel. Always follow the rules of the servers you play on.
Do I need a Minecraft account?
Yes. You sign in with your Microsoft account that owns Minecraft: Java Edition, through Microsoft's official sign-in.
Is my account safe?
Your Minecraft access token is only used on your own PC to start the game and is never sent to Asgard servers. The refresh token is stored locally, encrypted with Windows data protection. See the privacy policy.
Which platforms are supported?
The Asgard launcher runs on Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit). No admin rights are needed to install it.
Windows says "Windows protected your PC". Now what?
That is SmartScreen, because the installer is not digitally signed yet. Click "More info" and then "Run anyway". The installer adds a desktop and Start menu shortcut and includes an uninstaller.
